Sign-in is by phone number, and the code arrives on WhatsApp. There is no SMS — WhatsApp is what most people here already have, and it costs nothing to receive.
Enter your number, wait for the code, type it in. That is the whole account.
Tap Sell. Add up to five photos, a title, a category and a price, then say where you are.
Photos matter more than anything else you write. One clear picture in daylight does more than a paragraph.
Set a district, and drop a pin if you are willing to say roughly where. Buyers sort by what is close to them, so a listing with no location is seen by fewer people.
A listing stays up for 30 days. After that it expires and you can relist it in one tap.
A fundi, a tailor, a tutor and a driver all list under Services rather than as an item.
A service has no condition — it is work, not a thing — and you say how you charge: per job, per hour, or a price to start from.
Ask sends the seller a message. Offer sends them a number. You can do both.
A seller has to accept your first message before the conversation opens. This keeps sellers from being buried, and it means a reply is worth something.
An offer waits 24 hours for an answer, then expires. One offer is live at a time, so nobody is negotiating against a number the other person never saw.
Meet in daylight, somewhere busy. Check the item properly before money changes hands.
Never send money to hold something you have not seen. Nobody legitimate needs a deposit from a stranger.
Block and report are on every profile and every listing, and a report does not tell the other person you made it.
